Standard window glazing offers no protection from injury caused by flying pieces of broken glass. Security film when applied to glazing significantly reduces the hazards of flying glass, reducing disfiguring injuries, holding it safely within the film. It also acts as a deterrent to vandalism and burglary.

This product is a thick, optically clear barrier film that is retrofitted to the inside of windows to reinforce glass around-the-clock, helping to hold it safely in place upon impact should an attempted break-in, natural disaster or BOMB-BLAST occurs.

Our product is made from only the highest quality materials, such as tough, high tensile polyester and ultra-strong mounting adhesives – available in thickness ranging from 4 to 14 Mil (.004” to .014” or 100 to 350 microns) and offered in clear and solar control versions. Plus, stronger glass resilience can be achieved with attachment system options.

Our range of Safety Films, Bomb Blast Films and Security Films are designed to protect people and property against the dangers of flying shards of glass in the event of explosion or attack.

The multi-layered safety films are installed to the inside glass surface of existing glazing, providing a protective barrier by holding broken glass in place, thus reducing the injuries and damage that could otherwise occur.

Recognised safety standards achieved include Class A and B BS6206 1981 "Impact Performance Requirements for Flat Safety Glass" and European Standard Class 1B and 2B of BS EN 12600 "Classification for Flat Glass".
